Brussel Sprouts Sauce


  • 2T lemon juice
  • 1T buttery spread
  • 1T olive oil
  • 1t lemon rind
  • 1t sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Green onion (optional)
  • toasted almonds (optional)


  1. Combine all but last two ingredients in a saucepan on medium heat. Boil until thick enough to coat the back of a spoon, about 2 minutes.
  2. Toss in lightly cooked brussel sprouts, coat well, and heat through.
  3. Top with green onion and almonds, and serve.
