  • Roasted 50/50 FTO Mexican and FTO Nicaraguan
  • Set 21 minutes @ 482˚/250˚ "French Roast"
  • Second pop @ ~4 minutes remaining
  • Turned off with ~2.5 minutes remaining
  • Top roasting temperature reached ~478˚

Outcome:

  • Dark, somewhat oily beans
  • Not very aromatic - gained more aroma over night

Flavour: delicious!


Aug 10/08

  • Roasted FTO Peruvian HB MCM
  • Set 21 minutes @ 460˚
  • Second pop @ ~3 minutes remaining
  • Added 1 minute, with ~1.5 minutes remaining
  • Top roasting temperature reached: 460˚

Outcome:

  • Darker than before, somewhat oily beans
  • More aromatic than before

  • Set 21 minutes @ 469˚
  • Stopped with 1 minute remaining
  • Top roasting temperature reached: 469˚

Outcome:

  • Darker than before; oily beans
  • More aromatic than before
