• 1 tsp sugar
  • 1.5 tsp yeast
  • 1/2c warm water
  • 2c unbleached flour
  • 1/2c plain yogurt
  • oil & butter


  1. In a bowl, mix sugar, yeast, and water, and let sit for a few minutes
  2. Add flour and yogurt, mix and knead
  3. Let raise for at least an hour
  4. Divide into 8 balls, roll out into discs
  5. Fry with a bit of oil, brush with butter
