Pizza Dough


  • 1/2c warm water
  • 1-1/2t yeast
  • 1-1/2c flour
  • some olive oil
  • 2t parmesan cheese
  • 1t of each: oregano, rosemary, basil
  • dash of season salt
  • dash of garlic salt


For thin, crispy pizza shell:

  1. Combine water and yeast. Stir until yeast is disolved.
  2. Add flour to mixture. Work with hands into a ball.
  3. Drizzle oil and roll ball until it is fully covered.
  4. Let sit in bowl in a warm place for 45min-1hr, covered with damp tea-towel or plastic wrap.
  5. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. If using a pizza stone, let stone preheat in the oven.
  6. Sprinkle remaining ingredients with a bit of flour onto countertop. Kneed dough to work in herbs.
  7. Roll out dough until about 5mm thick
  8. Place dough on baking sheet (or pizza stone) and bake for 10 minutes, or until firm when touched.
  9. Complete pizza with sauce and toppings, and bake.
