Royal Icing


  • 2 c icing sugar
  • 3 T (soy) milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond or vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1t egg white (or 1/2t egg replacer and 1/2T water mixed together)


  1. Combine ingredients and mix well. Colour if desired.
  2. Cover with damp towel or in airtight container when not in use, as icing will harden.
