Spicy Lemon Pepper Pasta with Broccoli

  • Dried pasta, fettucini, spaghetti, or penne, enough for one
  • Olive oil, to start
  • 1.5 c broccoli
  • 1/4 c sundried tomatoes
  • 1/2 t hot red pepper flakes, or 1-2 hot peppers diced
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • salt, pepper


  1. Boil pasta in salted water
  2. While pasta is boiling, chop broccoli into small florets, and chop tomatoes into small pieces. Fry the broccoli, tomatoes, and hot peppers on high heat with olive oil until broccoli turns bright green. Do not overcook.
  3. Reduce heat, add lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Toss with pasta.
